FAQ

1. How should I retrieve the Bleak Paddle Tail?

Start with a steady retrieve to keep the paddle tail moving consistently. If fish are less active, try slowing down and adding short pauses to vary the presentation.

2. Why does my paddle tail stop kicking during a slow retrieve?

Paddle tail movement depends on water flow and retrieve speed. If the tail stops moving, increase your retrieve speed slightly until it starts kicking consistently.

3. What should I do if the lure swims sideways?

Check that the bait is rigged straight and that its body is not twisted. An uneven setup can affect its balance and swimming direction.

4. Is the Bleak Paddle Tail suitable for fishing in stained water?

Its bright red and yellow color combination creates a noticeable profile in the water. Try it in stained water or low-light conditions, and adjust your retrieve speed to find what attracts fish.

5. How can I fish this swimbait around weed edges?

Cast along the outside of weed beds and retrieve the lure steadily beside the vegetation. You can also let it sink before retrieving to cover different depths.

6. Which fish can I target with the Bleak Paddle Tail?

The 120mm baitfish profile and paddle tail action make it suitable for pike, zander, largemouth bass, and other freshwater predators. Choose your retrieve and fishing depth according to the target species and conditions.
